Abstract

Using a mixed-method approach, data was collected from 200 IT professionals through surveys and in-depth interviews.
Quantitative data was analyzed using statistical techniques, revealing a significant positive correlation between high EI
and superior job performance metrics, including task completion, teamwork, and leadership abilities. The study concludes that fostering EI within the IT workforce can main to improved job presentation, abridged income rates, and improved job satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the competitive edge of IT companies in Bengaluru’s dynamic market. Further research is recommended to explore longitudinal impacts and the potential curbing properties of demographic variables on the EI-job performance relationship.
