Abstract

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is an emerging field. A multitude of WSN exist today in various fields, each having specific objective in mind. From application areas of WSN, it has been observed that one of main important constraints in WSN is Security. Information in the network must be protected from the attackers. Security and privacy to small sensor nodes is challenging due to the limited capabilities of sensor node in terms of computation, communication,
memory/storage and energy supply. This paper aims to survey the state of the art in research on wireless sensor network security and highlights their key features, including strength and weakness.
